Observation and Measurement

Aim: How can we determine % deviation?

1. Read page 2 percent deviation or percent error
2. Pick and write are sentence in your notes that best helps you to understand this topic.
3. Practice
Question 8 on page 3 and question 9 page 10
4. Summary- Why is it important to be accurate when measuring? Why measure twice and cut once?
5. Review and more practice 1-6 page 10 all questions are to be written out.
6. Hurricane watch extra credit :
Cut and paste some article about Hurricane Isabel, write about a paragraph on what you learned about hurricanes, their behavior or history. Receive credit demonstrate motivation, and enjoy a better grade!
